Hey Party Animals! I hope you've all been out partying it up and going flat out like I have. I've been trying like mad to snap my stupid lung again but it seems to be pretty sure it doesn't want to snap, which I guess is probably a good thing!
I went back to work today, there was a big Get Well basket waiting for me from Ericsson, they're one of our vendors and they obviously love me lots and lots. It had a big balloon on top and beers and Ralph mag (though Sarah had already bought me this while I was in hospital) fruit, cheese, chocolates and biscuits. Quite a score really, I must remember to bust myself up more often.
Today got up at about 9am then ambled on down to the local cafe to get myself a tasty breakfast. It was quite nice to sit in the sun, drink tasty coffee and munch on bacon and eggs. Then I came back home and started working, just clearing out my emails, stressing about some stuff, then unstressing about it. Then I drove into work and it was a pretty boring uneventful work day.
Oh yea, don't go and see the movie View From The Top. It's got Gwen in it, yes. But that's about it's only good feature, it's so corny and stupid. But I still actually had a good time watching it. Go and see it with someone fun and you'll enjoy it, don't go and see it if you want a movie with any actual content.
I bought the new Powderfinger album the other day, it's really good. I got a bonus DvD with it too, the making of Vulture Street. I'm glad I paid a bit more for the "bonus" DvD, it was something cool to watch in hospital and it's actually really interesting, it's got interview with Bernard about what goes into songwriting etc. I should try songwriting oneday. I could write about my love of fridges and cows and stuff. Actually, maybe I shouldn't go into songwriting, I think I'd get locked away.
Not much else to say, tomorrow will just be another boring day back at work, then SPCA on Saturday. So, until I can be bothered to update again, party hard groovers!
