I got woken at 5:30am this morning by a panicking guy from Hong Kong (they provide us with Internet Connectivity) telling me that all our network sessions were down. If this had been true this would have been a really bad thing. I bolted out of bed and down to the computer to look at the problem. What problem? Stupid little man forgot to inform me that it was only one session that was down, not all of them. Muppet man. No getting back to sleep after that adrenaline rush though.
So I stayed up and drank coffee and played silly buggers on the network. Then I ended up driving Gary to work, because he's going out on the piss tonight with his boss (funny, I'm going out for some beers with my boss tonight too)
I got totally lost after I dropped him off and it took me a good half an hour to find my way back to Takapuna/somewhere close to work.
Before I came into work I went to Dr's to get them to check out my chest wound. I thought it was getting pretty itchy and probably infected so I was a bit worried about it. However it turns out I have nothing to worry about, it's healing fairly well if a little slowly and it's not infected at all. Woohoo, and stuff.
That's about all the excitement I can handle for one day, so I'm going to keep working. It's been a busy day, I've been writing this article for the last 4 hours and it's not really very long. Oh well.
