I get a day off tomorrow. I just sent an email to the group saying "I'm having a day off" and the only reply I got was "You probably should have a couple"
The only reason I want to take a day off is to sort out some crap, like my other bank account, my insurance and do some washing! I have NO clean clothes. Scary.
My good friend Fale is leaving next week, so on Friday night it's out for drinkies with her and all the gang. Thursday night is Emi's work's Christmas bash, and late Thursday night Mum and Bill are flying in! Next week is going to be busy, but I love Christmas because it's a nice break from the usual crap of working etc. It's also nice to see family and have some time to just vege out and do nothing, while not really feeling guilty about it.
I still have no idea where I'm going to sleep Mum and Bill, but I'll figure something out.
My lunch that I brought didn't turn out so great. It seems I might have microwaved it just a little bit too long. Everything was soggy and not that great. I still ate it though. I'll have to take that into account next time I bring myself food to heat. Spagetti heats up fine. Chicken and vegtables do not.
Enough of Tim's handy cooking advice, it's time to walk home!
