Err, Australia?

Submitted by TiM on

So I'm ment to be flying to Australia on Thursday. So today I decide I'd better ask about my tickets etc, seeing as no one has let me know what's going on.

"Tickets? What tickets? What trip?"
"Oh Shit. Panic!"

People have now realised they've "forgotten" about me, so now they're all doing the mad run-around-like-our-head-is-chopped-off trick trying to organise it. Hopefully I'm getting put up in a super swanky hotel though overlooking Darling Harbour. And flying business class. I've never flown business class before. I don't think it'll really happen this time either, but it'd be nice.

In other news, the voicemail on my desk phone got activated today. Only took 5 months. But hey, it's to be expected, I mean, we're only a DAMN TELCO!
I also asked if they could alias my name on my phone (the name that comes up on others phones when you call them) to SATAN, but they wouldn't do that.

I spent a good hour cleaning and polishing my BMX last night, now it looks all shiny and brand new again. I bet the car's jealous. I'd had it for a year and a bit now, and it's still never been washed. I'm very proud of that fact.

So much for the music people trying to shutdown file sharing. Today I decided I wanted to download the Foo Fighters new album and the new Pearl Jam album. Total time it took me to locate and download these 2 albums? 10 minutes.
The Pearl Jam one sucks, but the Foo Fighters one is good so when I get a chance I'll buy it. I don't understand why the record companies think MP3s are so bad, it gives me a chance to realise the new PJ album is shit and not waste my money on it. I guess they don't like that? Who knows.

Time to go and scream at random people to gauge their reactions.

Tim
