When do I sleep? (or Duvet Drinking)

Who needs sleep? I don't think I'll bother anymore! I'm in at work at 1:45am again, as usual it seems of late! Maybe I should start writing when I go into work at normal hours, that's rarer these days it seems! Nothing really major tonight, they're just changing some fibre optic cables around and I have to make sure that when they reconnet them the light beams are still doing their funky thing and our network is still going strong.

I rode to work today and it's wonderful. I'm so bored at the moment that I even made a map of my route to work. It's all pretty flat, a nice fast scream down the hill as I leave work, then a few little hills here and there. It only took me 15 minutes to get to/from work though, plus as an added bonus it'll help me get fit! There were a few raised eyebrows from people that know me as I flew into the downstairs carpark on a BMX.

I've managed to bust up my new place already, the stupid flush button on the toilet decided to go "SNAP!" on me last night. So now the lid is off and you have to stick your hand in the thingy and bash it a bit to get it to flush. I'll ring the landlady tomorrow and get her to organise a plumber to come fix it. She'll probably want to evict me, 2 days in and I'm already breaking stuff.
I spent the afternoon unpacking and setting up the loungeroom and the kitchen, I came home early because I knew I'd be in at work tonight. It's looking really nice, I'm so happy with my new apartment! I like it better than my Mt Eden one too I think, as nice as that place was. Hard to say why I like it better, but it's just got a nicer feel. I guess the new feeling hasn't worn off yet though, I might change my tune in a few weeks (doubt it though)
Did I mention it has a dishwasher?

I've also decided to buy myself a fridge, washing machine and dryer on 12 months HP. I think that's the best way to go, I'm not going to get any fancy models or anything, just something that'll keep the beer cold and wash out the beer stains from my clothes. I rang up today and got some quotes, most of them are pretty reasonable too.

Nothing else interesting to write about I'm afraid party animals, that's it. I'm looking forward to my trip to Sydney next week, it's going to be great to catchup with everyone again.
