Busy week, as usual. There have been some interesting things happen at work this week, but I'd better not write about them here as they're probably ment to not be made public. Nothing bad or anything, just internal workings and stuff. All very exciting.
I'll tell you another interesting story about work though...

I'm only really posting this for the sake of posting something. It's 5:10pm and I'm waiting around (as I usually do) till about 6pm so I don't have to sit in traffic for ages.
I arrived at work today and laughed my arse off for a good 5 minutes. Our company slogan is "Together. A better way." Moving words those, in fact they nearly move me to tears.
Well today I get to work and there is a package on the desk that has a "Together. A better way." card with some wibble about how I should flog our companies products to my family and friends. It also includes, and this is the bit I don't get, a schwarzkopf salon quality hair conditional and facial moisturiser.
WHAT THE FUCK?
How the hell that relates to me, a computer techie with the personal hygine of a hampster (ok, not strictly true) I'll never know. I'm sorry, but we are paying someone way to much money to smoke crack and come up with nutso ideas like this one.
This company has so much potential, and I really don't understand why we do silly things like this. Anyway.
Nothing much else to report. I heard from someone that it's rained everyday for the last 3 weeks here in Auckland. Doesn't suprise me. I still don't think I've driven to work yet without rain.
Flat hunting will commence next Tuesday, looking forward to that. There are a lot more places over in this area than I'd thought. Price range isn't too bad either, from $250->$300 a week.
I just wish my old slackarse-prick-moronic-dickhead landlord had given me back my reference from Australia about what a good tennant I was, plus sent me a reference himself. Both of which he promised he'd do. Prick.
And finally, yes finally, I am not sick anymore. I only have a slight cough and a major brain hemorage and nothing else!! I don't too feel bad at all. And yes, I was only joking about the cough.
