Arrrrrgh no! s3.sxb is down! What can that mean? The end of the world? No! Has the network exploded? No! Arrrgh what's going on! It's down! With an exclamation mark! Do I care about s3.sxb? Hmm. No, I don't.
What the hell am I on about? That's just one of the emails I got today. Seems some bad bad stuff happened to the network last night. No one got called though, and I wake up this morning and the network looks pretty radically different to how it used to look. Rather interesting Saturday morning I can tell you. Esp as I've still got this damn cold. It seems that almost everyone at work has come down with it in one form or another, people are talking about Takapuna having the "sick building syndrome"
I want a place on my Journal where I can write stuff of a more personal nature, but that my friends etc can read, but not just random joe. I'll have to try and think about how to do that later, give everyone a password or something. Cause I wanna write some personal stuff, but then I'd also rather not have the world read it. The personal stuff is always what people like to read too, have a look at top ten stories, no 3 is the breakup story and no 4 is when KA first posted on here. Babble babble.
I'm going to end up sitting up tonight to keep and eye on the network as we do out monthly upgrades etc. I'm not offically working, but I like to watch and make sure it's all Ok, if anything breaks I can ring people and offer to help too.
Hera, Annie and Simon left today on their round-the-south-island trip. I hope you guys have a great time down there! I was ment to be on holidays now too, damnit! Oh well, Mum's birthday isn't that far away, so I'll have a few extra days off and go over for a weekend.
Anyway, that's really enough babble for today, again, nothing interesting that I feel comfortable to write about to the world.
BEER ON!
Tim
