Everything is against me!

Submitted by TiM on

Arrrrggghhh!! One of those days I swear. I'm still feeling crook from the flu I managed to pickup about Friday afternoon. Easter was spent most of the time snuggled up on the couch with asprins and warm blankets. I'm feeling a lot better today, but still not 100%
The boss has arranged a 1 week traning course for us. Guess when it is. Yup, starts next week. When does my 2 weeks leave start? Next week...

I also managed to get myself a free flight down to ChristChurch for the weekend on work related stuff, but I can't do that either, cause I'd be leaving right when Adam and Chesty rock up. Adam and Chesty, if you're listening, you've ruined everything!!!! hehe. Well maybe not, I'm really looking forward to them getting here so we can kick back, relax and drink water. Reality check!! I mean, kick in, run around screaming and guzzle beer like it's water!!

I changed the theme of the website. If you don't like it be sure to send me an email which I'll promptly delete. Never say I don't listen to my vistors needs.

Is this not the cutiest thing you've ever seen?

Still no more news about jobs. It's getting the point where we're all so sick of waiting we've kind of given up caring I think. We thought today we were supposed to be getting told who I new manager is, but it turns out that they haven't even been interviewed for the managers position yet, and they're probably not going to be interviewed until early next week sometime. I'm not going to post anything more about it here, cause it's getting boring as hell. Hopefully by the time I get back from my two weeks leave I'll know, but heh yea, I don't really see that happening the way this company is working.

I'm going to take the laptop and the webcam home tonight and grab some pics around the place sometime. Be scared. Especially of my room, which looks like bombs have hit it. Well, who's fault is that? That's right, mine.

They closed off one block of Queen St today and we were looking out the window trying to see what was going on. We had the shades down, and could see the ground opposite our building had been roped off with "Police - Do Not Cross" banners. We opened up the curtains and saw what all the fuss was about. Directly opposite our window (well, 2 stories higher up) was a lady who was about to do the big "leap splat" trick. Thankfully the police were there, and also some guy who I assume was a negotiator. Thankfully he earned his money today and she was pulled off the ledge she was standing on and into the building. The tape was promptly removed and all the police cars blocking the stree sped off. We all discussed it later and decided we were very glad that she didn't, it's not something that would really brighten your day now is it? Maybe the pavement though.
Shit Tim, that's terrible.

Well I think that's about all I have to say today. Time to jump on the bus and go home.

Tim
