Whoever decided to raise prices obviously needs to listen to the beer song (warning: 1.4meg file, needs sound) a lot more before they make such stupid decisions.
With the help of Hera (thanks!!) I dyed my hair blue again last night. This time I turned out even darker (and better) than when the hairdressers did it. I used a darker blue fudge too. I think probably the biggest help was fact I left it in for 45mins (the packet says 30mins max.) Or it ight help my flesh to peel off my scalp, who knows? It seems to be OK at the moment though.
I'm just sucking back a tasty coffee from StarBucks. Ever since I read the book NoLogo I've been kind of loathe to go there... But then again they do actually make pretty tasty coffee which is the only reason I go there anyway. So the whole 'tasty coffee/corporate whore' thing came to a head this morning and I caved and went for the tasty coffee. So sue me. I think even the author of NoLogo has the odd coffee at StarBucks, so I shouldn't feel bad. Be sure to read NoLogo if you get a chance, it's a really good look at Logos and the corporate world and blah blah blah wibble it's too early for me to think like this.
I have to go out onsite to a customer's premises today. I wonder how the whole TelstraClear image will go down when I rock up with bright blue hair. Hmmmm. Maybe I didn't think this through as well as I could have.
Right well enough ranting. It's 7:30, time to get some work done. I've been getting up really early (well, 6am) each day at my new flat. If I leave it any later the traffic is so bad that it takes forever to get into town. The bus spends most of it's time sitting in traffic, inching slowly towards town. Nothing frustrates me more than that (apart from people who eat peas and then smile and say "Mmmmm these are tasty". Those people need to die) so instead I get up early each morning. Bus ride is nice and quick, and I get sleep depravation! Everyone's happy.
