Hi all, this will be my last posting for a while as I am moving house and my monitor has died (I use my brother's while I am at home.)
It's been a strange week. Firstly I have a job, though it's not a teaching job, it's a job I really wanted to do and is very rewarding so I'm very much looking forward to starting tomorrow.
Then Buzz, the older and most favourite of my parents two cats had to be put down. Obviously this was a very sad happening but at least he is in a better place, it's awful here without him though.
I'm moving across town, away from my parents. They are wonderful people but I need to be out with people my own age and living my own life so looking forward to that and to living just down the road from my best friend, instead of across town.
The weekend as usual was very busy, though I have been recovering from a cold I went to a going away party on Saturday that went really well.
I'm loving it in Christchurch and especially looking forward to Robbie Williams and Kiwifire (a NZ group of guys) touring down here later this year. I throughly recommend visiting the bar Tim is talking bout it you ever go to Auckland. A close friend had his birthday party there once. It is great, but like the rest of Auckland....too exclusive for me..I'm a town girl at heart! Anyway hope everyone is happy and safe and take care till the next time.
