I've decided that job interviews are really a lot more fun when you're sitting on the other side of the desk. Myself and the boss interviewed 2 people today, and I wasn't at all nervous like I thought I would be. Unlike candidate number two who was so nervous he could hardly talk. I didn't really get a chance to ask all the hard hitting, evil probing questions I'd had prepared. If I had I think number two might have needed a box of tissues.
Apart from that today was pretty much fending off all the people who seem to like to call me to ask me questions about stuff. Most annoying. It's not made any easier by the fact that my workmate Tony is having two weeks off due to birth of his Son. I think you'll agree he's got a fairly valid excuse. Congratulations to Tony Paula and new arrival Simon.
Day two of "stop being such a lazy prick TiM" has gone well. I didn't eat any nasty bad evil junk food or drink any satanic coffee etc. The evil headache has gone and I actually got a fantastic sleep last night. I didn't wake up screaming once. Then again I don't usual wake up screaming so maybe that's not saying much. I also decided to walk home again tonight, it was another really nice day in Auckland, just right for walking.
Oh look, it's 8:30, just in time for my movie on Sky to start. It's that one about the baby sitter who like to strangle people. The hand that rocks the cradle, that's the one. So I'm off to watch that. Party Hard!
