Put some homebrews in the fridge Friday night (my Ale has turned out really well, I'm very happy with it. And as long as you super chill the Wheat Beer, you can drink it)
Saturday afternoon, I moved the couch around to the optimal TV viewing position. I ensured the stereo was correctly wired up to the TV for the optimal sound hearing position. I waited until 4:30pm.
Then I was ready. Ready for the greatest AFL Match I have seen in a very long time. What a fantastic, utterly fantastic match it was. At half time I was so nervous that we were going to go down, but we'd done well to come back from being 2 (or was it 3?) goal down to only being 3 points.
After half time the action only got better and louder. There was a lot more yelling at the TV. At three quarter time we flipped over to briefly and amazingly see Tonga beat France in the Rugby. But then we flipped right back over for the remainder of the fourth quarter and that's when the Geelong boys really took off. I was excited at the 10 minute mark, by the 5 minute mark I was sure we were going to win and at the 3 minute mark when they cut to a shot of Eddie Mcquire with his head in his hands, I knew we were going to win.
What a great, fantastic grand final it was though. It was so close right up until the final quarter that I was always on the edge of my seat screaming. Poor Sarah, having to listen to that. She really got into it too though, which was fun!
Sorry to my darling mother, but only one team can win it.

Congratulations to your team, commiserations to mine... I was driving from Lonny to Burnie for my weeks' holiday, clean up Mum's possessions etc...and I had a lousy signal on the radio which improved just before the siren went...oh well it's only a game.
Hope Sarah is feeling better. LOL Mother XXX
