Rage against what easily has to be the worst Friday in the history of Fridays! Got woken up early, got to work at 4:45am like I was supposed to. Nearly had a heart attack when the major upgrade nearly fell over in a major major way. Me and the other guy doing the upgrade had the major "uh-oh, it's all turned to total shit" jitters, but we won through with a bit of hard work and a lot of luck. Err, I mean skill.
So yea, after that it just got worse for a number of reasons. Some work related, some not. I was glad when I was able to walk out at 4:30 that's for sure! And get this! I have to be in again at 5am on Monday morning! Does anyone want a job in New Zealand doing IP stuff? It's real easy and the hours are just fantastic. Geez I moan too much. So good stuff anyway:
SPCA tomorrow. It's been ages since I've been out to see all the funky little puppies and kittens. And all other manner of fluffy critters. I've given up my "get a budgie" idea (thanks Denny), they're too noisy and it's not really fair to keep them couped up in a cage.
Hockey on Sunday. Can't wait. I'm just going to say "Huh? What drawing on my head? I don't know what you're talking about!" and act like I knew nothing. I think I'll get away with this plan. We'll see.
Poor Rob. Hope you're feeling a lot better after "catching the bus" yesterday.
Ok, so that "joke" was so extra bad I need to be shot. Time to leave I think!
