Fat Cat

We got MySky HDi+ installed today. Basically what that means is Sky, plus the ability to record shows when you're not home. Or to watch one show while you record another. Or you can pause live TV while the phone rings and then keep playing when you hang up. Those sorts of things. It's pretty neat, I guess.

Tui went to the vet this afternoon. She's often flicking her head around, so I wanted them to look at that. But she's fine, just a cat thing. Her ears are both clean and mite free. Her waistline was, however, other news. She is now on a special cat diet in an attempt to loose nearly a Kilo of mog fat. We had noticed that she waddled a bit when she walked. It's my fault, she meows so I feed her.

I've got the flu. I started to feel a bit crappy and strange on Sunday night, but I just assumed/hoped it was because I'd spent 3 hours in the garden attacking roots. But no, it's the flu. I'm not sure if I'm going to go into work tomorrow, probably will. We'll see how I feel.

Spoke to Dad today. He's having a great time on his travels still which is great. Also had a couple of texts from Jeremy over the weekend, his new house has gone through so congratulations to him! Glad that he's got a place to call home again.

Sarah made Lemon curd tonight. It's really tasty. Made with some of the lemons from our lemon tree! I love that we can make our own stuff. I made my own beer and ginger beer. Sarah makes her own Lemon curd tasty stuff, plus many other tasty things. I tell you what, ice cold home made ginger beer is just the best when you're not feeling great. It's so tasty.

Time to go to bed and rest my miserable head.
