I've decided of late that I'm going to only catch the bus one way to work, and then walk home the other way. As everyone knows I'm such a slacker at getting up early that I actually have yet to walk to work. I have been walking home from work most nights though, unless it rains, so I'm pretty proud that I've actually managed to do what I said I would. It takes about an hour to walk home, and I think I made a bit of a mistake when I walked home tonight then decided to go to hockey training. Poor ol' legs weren't really cut out for THAT much exercise (My name isn't Rob remember) and so Mr Left Leg decided that he was going to pack it in and cramp up really badly. Ugh. Stupid leg.
I'm supposed to be going and doing the SPCA thing this weekend, but Simon and Hera have invited me over there on Saturday arvo instead to watch Australia totally beat the crap out of the Kiwis in the Rugby. Though when they invited me they put it the other way around. We all know who is really going to win though, don't we?
Hint: Aussie Aussie Aussie!
So I'm looking forward to that, I hope we do win or I'm going to look like a bit of a dickhead. Not that that's going to surprise anyone in a big way.
Better go have a shower I think after all that running around and stuff. Till next time!

Re: My Stupid Leg.
Rob hasn't been doing much exercise of late either. Apart from the usual stuff... So Tim; what about riding that bike of yours a little more. If you ride it to work and back daily, you might be able to ride up the mountian with me when you get back! (I don't want to discourge you from coming home and stuff). Any way when are you and KA coming over ?
Re: My Stupid Leg.
Tsk tsk... that excercise stuff will do it to ya Tim.

Nutcase Riding Up The Mountain Action (bugger that)
If I know you Rob, I bet there has not been a day go by in the past 2 weeks when you haven't rode your new bike at least 5km...
If you think I'm going to be riding up that fekking mountain trail with you when I come home then I've got some really bad news for you too! I'll wait up the top (in my car) with an Eski and some cold beer, and you can ride up the mountain and get it. Even better idea! We can just sit at your place and drink the beer, and not even have to worry about riding anything anywhere!!
Doesn't that sound like a much better idea? :)

Re: My Stupid Leg.
True, it will.
I think I'll have to take it easy this weekend and instead of running around getting fit I'll just drink beer...

Will you cycle with me if I put boags in your drink container, or you require something stronger

The ol' "carrot on a stick" trick huh? Could work I suppose... You'd have to carry the boags though, no way I'd want to ride up a moutain with a carton of beer strapped to the front of my bike!!! ;)
