I went to bed early last night, tired from getting up early to fly to Wellington and a big run at night. I'd been asleep for about 10 minutes when the fire alarm went off, screaming into my room and the whole apartment building. We all had to troop downstairs and stand outside for ten minutes while the Fire Dept arrived to give the all clear. Annoying.
Then this morning there was no hot water. Buggered if I was going to have an ice shower first thing in the morning. I boiled some water to have a shave so at least I don't look homeless. Stupid apartment building.
