Making the most (?) of Saturday

Submitted by TiM on

So I got up fucking early today which is really shit on a Saturday. But hey, if I didn't phrase it like that I wouldn't have got two swear words into the first sentance of my story. First of all I drove in to see the dentist. Choppers got a polish from the first person and then an inspection from the dentist. All's well and in order according to Mr. Dentist. Good stuff.

So then I drove over to the other side of the harbour to get a new lens in my PS2. Cracked me up totally, the PS2 guy who puts the modchips in doesn't even know how to burn an ISO image. It's not rocket science and he really had no idea, even after I explained it about 5 times. It was still causing him major confusion. I promised that I'd mail him a firmware update on CD if he charged me a bit less. Great deal there, $20 off a new laser in return for about ~30 seconds work.

Then I fanged out to papatoetoe to get my new P910 that bought last Sunday for a most excellent $335. I was pretty sure the phone would be old and dirty and pretty fucked up, but it was perfect. I mean, not a mark on it. I was really worried when they showed it to me that it must be stolen so I checked it's IMEI against the OTP IMEI but it checked out. I could make calls, it seemed to be fine. Crazy huh? I still wonder if maybe it's stolen but it can't be, it's just a lucky find I suppose.

So then got back home and Sarah and I drove down to the Fish Market place which is was having a festival thing on. We walked down only to realise we had to pay $20 each just to get in, let alone eat some food. Considering major hungar was our driving force, $20 seemed like a rip. So we buggered off from there and just got some food at a cafe near there. Then we headed over to Takapuna beach for a bit of relaxing in the sun, until the big fucking cloud came over that it.

Then we went to Bunnings warehouse which sucked, cause it was backed with muppets. But we got some umbrella's and other stuff we need. And some sausages. Oh yea and a new sparkplug for the scooter, but it didn't revive it. RIP Scooter.

Then we got to about here which is where I sign off. I must learn to write funny, exciting blog entries like Sarah does.
