Hello from Rotorua, the home of bubbling mud and the constant smell of rotten egg gas. Our hilarious joke to each other each time we get out of the car is "Did you fart?" Never gets any less funny. Ho ho ho.
Bit of a bugger though here because it's raining today so a few of the things we wanted to do (luge rides) we haven't been able to. But we still had a good look around town, had a snooze, had a swim in the hot pools at the Polynesian spas and generally have had a pretty good time despite the crappy weather.
After my visit to Wellington the other day we (Prophecy) have landed the job there. Which is excellent because it means I'll have something interesting to occupy my time with but also a real bugger because it means I'll have to spend my weekdays (and nights) away from Sarah and The Nest. So I'm looking forward to the work but I'm also going to be a bit sad and lonely down there by myself. I do know quite a few people from TelstraClear who no doubt can entertain me now and then, plus of course that's where Prophecy is mostly based. With all the modern technology too we can stay in touch all the time but it's not quite the same thing. Still I'll be home weekends and it'll mean we can probably have a couple of weekends down in Wellington together.
