Grumble

Got woken up early this morning by a customer, their network was done so I had to go and fix that. It was nothing wrong with my configuration work from a few weeks ago, just a major hardware failure in one of their devices. So I've been out there for the morning having a stress out and getting everything back working for them. I'll have to go in again tonight to do some other changes. It's like I've never changed jobs!

Sarah's Landlord came past last night and told the girls how much the house was on the market for. Wow. If I'd have been holding a beer I would have dropped it! I mean, good luck to her she's in a tight situation but I really don't think it'll sell for the asking price which is over half a million dollars. I hope if it does sell we get to find out how much for. If it was half the asking price I still wouldn't consider buying it, though I am probably a little stupid when it comes to how inflated the Auckland property market is.

Not sure what the plan is this weekend, I think we're going to go to the cricket though! That'll be great. On Monday we have to fight the phones to try and get tickets to the U2 concert that's going to be here in March next year. Everyone really wants to go and it's one-show-only so trying to get tickets is going to be tight. I'll be on the 'net and on the phone trying to score some for us. If we all manage to get through we can just sell the rest on TradeMe.

Edit: I have just realised Australia - The GREATEST TEAM IN THE WORLD - is playing NZ tomorrow. I will be first at the door!

Saudi would appear to be not happening at all now. It's all a bit too much to go into here, but if you're interested in the story let me know and I'll write it up as best I can. Having said that, I could still get the "here tomorrow please!" call and have to be on my way. Each day that passes that looks less and less likely though.

Oscar's here at my place today, I bought him a new toy today and he's violently attacking that at the moment (which means he's happy)
