Theo's big new bed arrived on Monday! Sarah drove into town and I met up with her at the bed shop to get a headboard for it. We looked at one, both agreed it was great and bought it. And we were allowed to take the one from the floor, so we loaded it up into the car and off we went. Oh prior to this I rode up to the bike shop and bought myself a new bike lock. My old one I always had to carry in a bag, this one has a nice mount so you can mount it on the bike. After buying the headboard I waved goodbye to Sarah, only to hear from her a few hours later that Theo had been sent home from Kindy with a fever. And sure enough when I got home boy was he hot. So I looked after him for the afternoon, then put him to bed. He loved his new big boy bed, but kept me up all night singing and giggling and hopping out of it (then he can't get back in) and all that sort of carry on. I got up the usual time on Tuesday with the intention of going to work, but Theo was still a mess and I was so knackered it wasn't funny, I'd have been of no use to anyone at work.
So Tuesday was a write-off, I stayed at home and helped Theo through the day. He did have a sleep for a couple of hours in the afternoon which was good. Tuesday night he didn't want to sleep in his big boy bed, he wanted to go back in his cot. So I put him in there and he slept all night which I was so amazed about I was scared he wasn't alive this morning at 6am! But of course he's fine.
Tonight I put him in the bigboy bed and didn't even ask him what he wanted, I just read him some stories in there and then kissed him goodnight, sung the usual 20 songs as he requires then off he went like a light. Hopefully he has a good sleep in it tonight and can be happy moving on from his cot.
In other news Sarah got results back from her ankle scan, far out! She has both a tear to one of her ankle ligaments and a tear to the gastrocnemius. Which is the fancy pants Dr way of saying calf muscle. Ouch. So she has her old friend the Moonboot back again. And the worst part is because it's on ACC, they won't see her until November. NOVEMBER. That's the worst part about Hawke's Bay, the public health system is pretty slow and terrible. And it's ACC, you can't do much else because Private Insurance won't cover it if it's covered by ACC.
No sprouts yet on the little gardens. I gave them all another water last night.
And fixed the last error in my Drupal 7-> Drupal 8 migration tonight I think. Spent an hour fiddling with the Database and then drush, but finally fixed it. Still a bunch of other little bits to cleanup, hopefully find a better theme etc etc, but mostly I'm happy with the website again.
