But finally it's over and I can't tell you how glad I about that. I had 2 major projects on the go that had to be completed by today, and thankfully they're now completed and out of the way. Time for a beer!
I listened to George Bush deliver his big speech on the radio in a taxi today. It basically sounds like they are going to lauch a big extended campaign against anyone they think is part of the attacks last week. It's a shame it has to come to that, but given all the stuff that's happened this week (stock market, air industry) it's not really suprising. Geesh I'm getting all deep for a Friday afternoon. Waiter! Another beer... I wish.
Going out tonight for a few drinks with the regular party animals from work. One of the girls from the Fault Management Centre is leaving so we're going to take her out to some fancy resturant somewhere and eats lots of food and drink lots of wine. And beer (of course. It's a Friday so my diet thingy doesn't count as much. ie I'm allowed to drink beer.)
