As I posted a few days ago one of the guys here at work is selling his 1989 Mitsubishi Lancer before he goes over to Australia. I took it for a test drive on Tuesday night and it's in pretty good nick! It's even got power windows. Sure, it's an automatic, which blows hard, but at it's newly reduced price of $1,400 it's a bargain. I've already put a deposit on it, I get to pick it up sometime next month. I'm happy! It'll be a lot easier to get around to various places now.
I had a performance review today with our new manager. That went OK. It seems I'm doing alright here, and I'm going to get my quarterly bonus, which is, of course, a bonus. Hopefully I'll get that right about the time I have to pay the remaining $1,200 off my car.
Hockey practice tonight. I haven't played in years. I hope I still remember what to do and how to drive a hockey stick. I'm going to go and buy one, plus some shinpads and a mouthguard right after I finish typing this crap up. I figured out where the hockey ground is Tuesday night, so I'm just going to ride my bike out there tonight. Too far to walk. It's even Astroturf! Woohoo.
Ok, enough of this crap, time to catch the ol' bus home.
