I was up bright and early this morning for another go on the Treadmill. The good news is, both kids still slept in like rocks this morning. Sarah's probably right, the excitement of the treadmill on the first day was something for them to both want to get up when they stired and have a look. This morning both still fast asleep like bricks at 6:45am when I went to wake them up. I meant to do 30 minutes on the 'mill this morning, but I accidentally knocked the safetly plug out at 22 minutes in and it all ground to a halt, so I called it quits there.
Then when I was reading the news I saw the breaking "Queen Dead!" and then my Twitter feed just flooded itself silly with Queen shit. Poor ol' Queen though. She had a good life.
All the diet eating (well, not shoving pies and fizzy drink and beer in there at a million miles an hour) is paying off, 3 weeks in and I'm down ~4.5kg. Wouldn't mind dropping another 10kg yet though, so a little while to go.
I walked the kids up to school this morning with Biscuit. It's always nice to walk with them as they chatter on about everything they see/are thinking. The only problem is walking along Meeane Road you have to walk single file and you have to shout to be heard as all the massive trucks and cars drive past in a hurry. But otherwise it's good fun.
Talked to Mum briefly last night to see how she's doing. What a shit year she's had. Shane and then her lovely little doggy Audrey passed away quite suddenly. At least she was with her at the vet when they put her down, poor little fluffpot. Be good to see Mum in a few weeks. And I had a chat to Dad too and he told me his story about having one to many at the Melbourne Old Boys meetup and falling asleep in the Departure lounge and missing his flight. Doh.
Time to get back to work.
Tim
