I was happy a nice comfy sleep on my new futon (the old mattress is still sitting in the corner) last night, when the mobile phone rang. I'm not even on recall yet and I'm coming into work at crazy (2:30am) hours. This is one of the "benefits" of living so close to work I think. I don't really mind though, the experience is all good.
Walking towards work I was amazed at how many people are still about at 2:30am on a Monday morning. Lots of people all dressed up like they were going places (or just coming back) You wouldn't think that Monday night was the obvious night to go out. Obviously some of these nutter Kiwi's have other ideas.
Well not much else exciting to report today. Just work and stuff really. My stupid horse in the Melbourne cup didn't win. Good one, Pravda. That's the last time I waste a huge $4 on you. We listened to the Triple J internet stream to listen to the cup live. A few people here thought Rob and HG were most amusing (and they were)
Time once again to go home. Does anyone have any suggestions for the poll thingy on the right hand side there? I can't think of any right at the moment, and the Mattress one doesn't matter anymore :) Send them to me timh@tsnz.net
