Only 1 more week before I fly home for a well earned 4 day Holiday.
I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again, and of course the big wedding too. Also (of course) some real Australian Beer! Mr Boags here I come!!
Last night my flatmate Natile rang me up to make sure I was alright. The reason for this is that there was a stabbing in our street on Wednesday night!! I didn't hear anything, and I didn't read anything about it in the papers, but some other people heard that it happened. I know a Taxi driver got stabbed in the head, maybe that was the same thing. I'm just wondering if the reason she rang me up was to find out if 1) I'd been stabbed, or 2) If I'd been stabbing people! ;)
Well, it's good to know I live in such a safe happy street. Here we are 5 days into 2001 and 1 stabbing already. I'm sure things can only get better. Murders etc
Not much happening this weekend. I haven't heard back from the SPCA yet, so there can't be too many fluffy critters without a home to go to at the moment. I think tomorrow I might go for a bit of an explore and see if I can get some of the crushed root power that you use to make Kava. We were drinking this sutff again this afternoon. It definetly has a relaxing effect, I can't be bothered walking home, and I only live 3 blocks away. If I can get hold of some of the power I'll bring it over and people can try it. It looks like mud water and some would say it tastes like mud water. There is only one way to find out though!
Well, I suppose I better, I can't live at work for the rest of the weekend. And I wouldn't want to either. Have a good weekend everyone!
