Good News / Bad News

Edit: The package has landed! Changed to public.  Also it was confirmed: Mega foofoo.

I'll change this to public when the exciting news has been released, but Jeremy rang me on Wednesday to tell me that I'm going to be an Uncle in February!  Very exciting.  We even got sent a scan of Frankie the Foetus.  Mum is of course going to blow a mega foofoo when she finds out, Jeremy and Nicole have posted a scan inside of the birthday card he's sent her.  Poor Mother,  I think she'll be opening that today.  That's the good news.

The shit news is that my mate Chris has been diagnosed with Cancer in his bowel now, as if having it in his stomach wasn't bad enough.  And they haven't said to him they can operate this time.  I spoke to him on Wednesday night and it wasn't a happy phonecall at all.  Poor Chris.  Poor Simone.  I really want to try and do something for them, but what?  I don't know.
