Rode to and from work again yesterday - it's been ages since I did it. I tried to do it a couple of weeks ago but when I went to pump up my rear tire it wouldn't pump, only hissed air. Crabbed off I scootered to work, when I tried to fix it later that night I realised the valve on the tube had pulled out and there was a hole. Really crabbed off I put it back in the shed. A few weeks later I finally remembered to take it up to the bike shop for them to fix it. I also got them to give it a good proper service, something it hasn't had in a while. $200 later (!!!!!) it was ready to go with a new rear tire, new cables and a new bike chain. Now the brakes work really well, it changes gear much easier and overall it's better to ride.
Today of course being the second day I was planning to ride it's pissing with rain, but I don't think I'm going to let that stop me. Stuff it, it's only water.
Edit: I rode into work. It was wet. Half way to work the sun came out and I had to stop and swap my glasses for my sunglasses. While it was pissing with rain. STUFF YOU WEATHER I STILL RODE AND I WON.
