Interesting start to the day today, sitting on the bus on the way to work I saw a pretty amazing crash. Stupid crazy car driver decided to pull out in front of mini truck thingy coming along the main road. The smash was so loud everyone on the bus heard it. Not much we could do about it though...
I think the nasty smell that has been floating around the apartment for the last few weeks will finally be gone after today. The plumber came around to find the source of a leak that the downstairs neighbours have been getting for the last month. Turns out the hot water cylinder had a problem with it where it was leaking water all over the place. After knocking a few choice holes in the wall all over the place the problem is now fixed. Much to my landlord's annoyance, he now has to pay a nice plumbing bill in the order of $500. He has to pay for the downstairs neighbours too (probably) and the plasterer to fix the gaping great hole. There were all so a massive bunch of ants behind the wall after Mr Plumber (Rob) knocked all the holes in it. KA was on hand to rush in with the fly spray and spray a few litres of the stuff on them. Mr plumber was mighty impressed at their rapid demise.
After all that excitment KA took me clothes shopping so now I actually own some decent clothes. She's worried that she's making me do all these things, hair, clothes etc. But she's not :)
So anyway, I have some decent clothes now which is good, I've been meaning to do it for ages and I've never gotten around to it. I'm so slack like that. Anyway, it's time for bed, night all.
