Stuff

Yup still alive. I've been sick the last 2 days (just the ol' flu, everyone's had it) so I haven't updated my site in a while.

Got my car fixed the other day, it's nice to have a car that drives around again and doesn't sound like it's falling to pieces whenever I'm putting my foot on the brakes. As I suspect the brakes had a numbers of issues, not the least of which was a stuck caliper on the right hand side. This was causing the disc to wear away to nothing, and to make the car drive like a slug (and use lots of petrol too)


It's all been fixed now and I'm $450 lighter. At least I don't feel like I'm driving a death trap anymore!

Apart from that not a lot happening, like I said I've been in bed sick yesterday and today. I'm finally feeling OK tonight which is good cause there is a lot of work going on at the moment and I hate not being there. I mean, it's nice to have a break, but not when you're crook and you know that there's heaps of stuff you need to be doing.

I've moved all my stuff into my new apartment now. I've even got a fridge. It's old and crusty and it was cheap. It also likes to act as a large freezer more than a fridge. It's on the warmest setting possible and all my milk still turns into ice blocks. It's very annoying. I'll get to fridge man in sometime to have a look at it. It just means my cup of coffee in the morning has to be back, and my Orange Juice has to be sucked instead of drunk! Oh well. It's fun, or something.

I should really go to bed now, but I've been sleeping most of today and all of yesterday, so I'm wide awake, even though it's 9:50pm. I might watch some TV. Oh, wait. I haven't got one. I'll just lie on the couch then! Oh, fek, nope, haven't got one of those either. Damnit! At least I have my stereo, my bed, and one of my friends has lent me a heater cause I still haven't got myself one yet. Damn I'm slack!!
