New Year Is Almost Here!
Ok so I'm a crap poet.
I hope everyone has a really good New Year's. We get both Monday and Tuesday off for New Years here. I'm not quite sure why we get the Tuesday off, but I'm not about to complain about it. It's good anyway, it means that next week will be another 3 day week. There are only 2 things better than a 3 day week, they are the 2 day week and the 1 day week.

Some of the Fijian guys at work today brought in some Kava to drink. It's the root of some plant (The Kava plant?) crushed up and mixed with water. It's ment to relax you, and I can say that after 7 or so bowls full I was feeling very sleepy. But then again it is Friday afternoon, so it's hard to say if it was the Kava or not. It's quite tasty, with a peppery type of flavour. It's a traditional Fijian drink, and apparently it's the equivalent of Beer in the Fiji. ie all the guys sit around and drink lots and lots of the stuff. It's nice, but give me a beer anyday!
Not too sure what I'm going to do for New Year's eve. There is a big street party just down the road, so I think I might wander down and check it out. For just 2 hours there New Zealand is going to be ahead of Australia (It'll be 10pm in Aus when it's Midnight here)
It's the only time New Zealand will ever be ahead of Australia in something!!
I've had a heap more photos developed in the last few days. I've been a slacker and haven't bothered to get them scanned or anything. At lot of them won't mean much to anyone but me, cause they're of other people whom you don't know. Mostly taken while drunk too, so some of them don't do my (little) credability as a photographer any good. Oh well! I'm having fun, so who really gives a shit, right? :)
Well that's it, I think it's time to go home. I really should tidy the flat up a bit too. Thank god for dishwashers, that's all I can say. Hope everyone has a really good New Years! See you next year!
