Well it's as always, been ages since my last update!  Heres' a list of the various things we did with Mum/she did with us / the kids.

• Went for a walk around Ahuriri to look for Kingfishers.  We found quite a few.  Took some nice photos as well.   Afterwards we got a couple of treats from the McDonalds drivethru.  It was a great little walk though, hunting around trying to find a Kingfisher until we eventually spotted one.  Then two, then quite a few.  Never got too close to them though, but we certainly saw some.  Mum kept saying "Did you bring the Binoculars" but no, we hadn't brought any with us.  It was her bird watching trip not ours!
• Granny did lots of rock painting with the kids.  There's still lots of rocks around the house with Sharks etc painted on them, they also went and hide some down on the windy path near the tunnel and then when Mum went back a day later for a walk with Biscuit they were gone, some other kid(s) had picked them up.
• Granny did some Basket weaving and left behind this cute little basket she made from all the Wisteria around the house.  I even managed to snap a little video of her out there by the table in her slipped doing the weaving. She actually made a couple of very neat little weaved things, it's quite the skill she's picked up recently.
• Went out to Hygga for a lovely lunch in the sun.  Peter and Mary came, Holly and Adrian + J&I came as well.  The kids all had their own little table and had a great time playing.  Holly and Adrian left soon though because Holly had "a Virus" from a big night at the races the night before.  Good on her though, had to have a bit of fun after all the pressure of her studying.
• Granny and I did Parkrun together!  I ran it, I was quite slow.  Mum took Biscuit for a walking lap around the park, which he loved.  Once finished we went and got a coffee from Blakey's.

The toilet at home started leaking.  I went in to go and was all ready to shout at a child for weeing all over the floor, but then realised it was water leaking from the toilet somewhere.

The did a stop motion activity at the library.

Jordan got a job working at NOW - he starts the same day as his Wife Andrew's 30th Birthday party AND the same day their first child is due to be born.

Christmas at the Munns, Theo got a Guitar Beth got an Instamatic camera.

I need to come back and flesh this out properly, but that'll do for the moment.

Starlink - oh I wrote about this in the next story.

Oh we also did Halloween.  The kids and I had a great time walking around the streets of Jervoistown, knocking on doors.  We also had heaps of kids knock on our doors.  I even went and found my Priest costume.  The best was Biscuit though who had his own little dog costume that everyone thought was very funny.  Here's all 3 dressed up, Spiderman, Hermione Granger and Dog with Arms.
