Rainy Days
I've been raining for the last 5 days pretty much, quite boring.
Thursday was of course Theo's last day at Kindy! He had his celebration in the morning (The Earth Goes Round The Sun, The Earth Goes Round The Sun, Fa La La Laaa La Laaaa The Earth Goes Round The Sun) which was really nice. I think some of the teachers, especially Sarah, are actually sad to see him leave. But school's calling!
Saturday was very wet and miserable, so we didn't really do much at all. Soccer was called off. The biggest thing was I took the kids for a walk up to the dairy and back, let them splash around in the puddles etc. We did a little bit of drone flying in the afternoon but it was so windy (and gusty) that was it quite hard to control, no matter where you pointed it, it couldn't fight the wind well enough.
Today was a bit nicer, we pegged out the garden where we want the new pool etc, thanks heaps Peter for helping. I made two new batches of beer, I had to tip out the Mexican Lager I'd made a month or so ago with really old hopped malt, it just tasted like arse. It was undrinkable. So I've made another IPA and a Wheat beer. Let's see how it turns out! Took the kids to the playground this afternoon for a bike ride then a play on the playground, it seems to have worn them out because they're both asleep already.
That's enough for today, I can't be bothered writing anymore, I'm tried and want to go to bed. Tomorrow will be a big day for Theo!
