Deployments
I'm going to have to upgrade my website soon. All the software is old and out of date. They don't even make security patches for my gallery anymore. Not really a big deal I guess because the world has moved onto Google Photos and those sorts of services, but I always did like the idea of hosting things myself. I could probably move my diary onto someone's online platform somewhere then pay $10 to never have to worry about it again. But that's no fun. And all the links in the old stories would break then. I'm just warbling on to myself, sorry dear readers.
Deployed a whole bunch of config into the network yesterday morning. Went pretty well though of course afterwards realised a mistake that I've made. Hopefully nothing too major that can be fixed. Was pretty tired and grumpy yesterday! Got a crappy call from Dad yesterday afternoon too, rage against that!
Beth and Theo are well - I took Theo for a walk yesterday morning when I was at home recovering from night work. We just walked down the street and back, stopping to look at everything etc. It's really nice to have time just with him, usually Beth's there too and she has to be the centre of attention. So it's really nice to hang out with Theo and do what he wants to do and point and look at things. He helped me carry some firewood in from woodshed too. "Daddy. Fire. 'ood". Also the little green toy that's name is actually Scout he has renamed to "Biteus" which I think is probably the coolest name ever. And he loves his monster PJs, his "Monsties!" as he calls them. He's such a happy little fella.
That's about all I've got to stay really - I'm just trying to remember to keep my diary a bit more up to date than I usually have!
