Theo and Joseph's Birthday
It was a combined Theo and Joseph Birthday Party yesterday. Choppers is 1, though not officially until Wednesday. Joseph is 4! My home time flies. It was the typical hectic kids birthday, made even worse by the fact poor Theo has a super intense case of Nappy Rash. The worst he's ever had it, meaning he was the most upset I've ever seen him. Just tears and tears and screaming and crying, so upset he wouldn't sit down or get his bum anywhere near a floor for most of it. And every time we cleaned him up, put cream on and calmed him down, he'd then go and do another super pooper that we wouldn't realise for a while, starting the whole cycle again.
So apart from one half of the birthday party hardly ever being available for the party, it was a good day. Joseph had a good time, lots of his friends came over and there was pass-the-parcel, the most amazing Digger Cake that Sarah and Holly made, lovely cupcakes and food and all those nice things.
Beth stayed over at Joseph's to stay the night, but sadly it didn't work out. She kept telling Holly that "I'm not tired" even though it was 9:30pm and she was knackered. In the end Sarah went to get her and we put her down here, she was still adamant that she wasn't tired, even though she feel asleep almost straight away.
Theo woke up super early this morning (just before 6am) with another giant poo and mega sore bum. I think we'll have to take him to the Dr's to try and get some medicated bum cream, the regular stuff isn't cutting it for the moment. He seems to be teething, or something else is upsetting him, he didn't want any food at all this morning, just milk. That's totally unlike him, he can usually eat twice the amount his sister eats.
Speaking of, I can hear her on the 'mote too, so I better go and get her up.
