Ramblings
Nothing exciting to report today, so if you're actually after content worth reading I suggest you stop reading now. I'm just sitting at home cooking myself tea and having a beer while chilling out on my funky as couch. Work today was as interesting as it always is. At least I get paid, that's the important thing to remember.
The massive holes in the wall from the plumber fixing the leak months ago are still in the bathroom. I wrote the landlord a short-but-to-the-point letter last week in which I stated that if the holes weren't fixed by Friday (tomorrow) I'd have to go to the Tennancy Tribunal. Last night I got a phone call from him saying about how he's sorry and stuff. Some sob story about how he can't get anyone interested to do such a small job. Which is crap, cause about 2 minutes later he had to ask me how many holes there were etc and how big they were. So I'll give him a few days into next week, and if nothing has happened by then I'll ring the Tennancy Board and get their advice on what to do. My landlord was the first person to ring me up when the bank cocked my payment up one fortnight ages ago. So he'd better fix the holes or I'll get annoyed. They're very annoying to look at and make me miss when I'm taking a leak. Oh, that's probably more information than was needed. heh.
Tomorrow is Friday. I love Fridays. There is nothing special about tomorrow, but it just means that's one more week down before I get to come back for a party in Tassie! I am so looking forward to that, especially now that I have my tickets booked and confirmed etc. I still have yet to ask for the time off, but the boss has already unoffically approved it, and I'll quit before they tell me I'm not allowed some time off. Hopefully my damn car will still be there and going by the time I get back. It's been having a few issues of late, the latest one being it firing on only 3 cylinders. Thankfully Julian has taken it in to be fixed (thanks D!) and it's all going properly again. Stupid rust bucket. I'd sell it, but I'm attached to the damn thing. Red Fluff Mobile that it is. Arrrgh! I'm getting emotional about my car! See I told you earlier not to read this!!
I think that's about all I have to write about today.
