Performance Review Time!
I had my performace review today with the boss! Scary scary stuff. I was all ready for him to hand me the pink slip and a letter with "pack ya bags" written on it, but it turns out he's actually pretty happy with my work and stuff. It's nice to get a bit of recognition every now and then from management, it makes getting up out of bed at 4am (like I'll be doing tomorrow) just that little tiny bit easier.
So I'm glad that went OK, I wasn't really expecting it to go bad or anything. I've been working lots of crazy hours of late and jumping through lots of hoops. I reckon that's why I've been crook a heap of late. I'm almost over this stupid flu thing now, lots of good food and rest has been helping I think!!
What else has been happening? My Sky Digital install was due to happen yesterday, but Mr Sky Installer Man couldn't make it cause of rain (lame excuse) so he'll be in tomorrow. Once that's happened I'll have 40 channels of crap to watch instead of just 4. It remains to be seen if I'll actually watch anymore TV than I usually do (not much) cause I've got Sky. We shall see. I don't actually have my own TV either, I've just got KA's little one. It's bonus time this month though, so maybe I'll save up and buy myself a TV. Or a Vacuum cleaner. Or some more beer.
Can't have enough beer.
My god, speaking of beer, check out this major major major emergency at Boags? Geez I hope the damage isn't bad and that beer production will continue as usual. Have mercy on us all, or something.
Ok, time to get back to work.
