Feking Wellington + The Goal Scoring King!!
Well here I am in Wellington again. Boy I'm getting a bit sick of all this flying. At least my flight down today was one of those nice ones where you can just sleep most of the way there. Except for the landing bit, where the sudden drop at the end scares the crap out of you. Well, it scares the crap out of me that's for sure!
I managed to make it to my 3rd Hockey game for the season yesterday! You know what? We finally won a match! You know what the score was? 1 nil. You know which fantastic prince of the hockey stick scored that magical goal that won us the match? Oh yea baby! I'm the fucking man! Just a little run up to the goal, a small tap, and BAMMO!!! Pass me a medal please!!! Oh yea!!! More exclamation marks please!!!!!
Ok, so actually I was just lucky enough to be there and push the ball in, all the hard work was done by other people. But still, it was a fantastic match, we almost drew it in the last few minutes (we got really slack in defence). But in the end (thanks to my magical touch, of course) we won the match, which was fantastic!
I spent a fair bit of time yesterday helping Greg clean out the house and scrubbing bits and pieces etc. We're all going to be out of there next weekend (it's all happened so damn QUICK!) so we have to have the place looking nice for the landlord. I don't think he'll have any problems getting some other people in, it's a really really nice place. I'd keep saying there, except at the moment I really don't want the hassle of having to find 2-3 other flatmates, and then having to make sure they pay their way each week. Bugger that. Especially since I have found such a fantastic place to move into!
My stupid heap of crap car. It's now decided that it'll just totally pack the left front hand caliper in. This means when you brake you get this horrible metal on metal discpad noise. It's going to be expensive as hell to fix. I think I should just drive it off a cliff, but I can't find any cliffs near to where I live. I also don't think the insurance people would understand how I took out the policy 1 week then managed to find it "accidently" over a cliff the next. Hmm. Have to work on my excuses here I think!
Well, Mr Hockey God (whoops!) has to get some sleep for the next day of training. Talk to you next time!
