Fek Me! Moving already!
Well can you believe it, I'm moving house already. I found out a while ago that the lease on this place expired in while, and I also found out that Greg and Kim probably weren't going to take the lease out again for another year. Turns out the lease expires in the next two weeks!! I'm not really prepared to take out a $400 lease, then try and find flatmates etc. I've decided that I want a place of my own, so this morning I got up bright and early (Ok, 11am), went up to the shops and got myself a paper.
Fek it's expensive to rent in Auckland. I want a nice 2 bedroom apartment, so I can have 1 room as a study, or maybe get a flatmate in (not sure yet). The first place I checked out was $200 a week, and it was dive central. Bits falling off the walls, small, and it stank like people had died in there. Ugh. Second place I checked out was dead sexy, very nice, sunny, deck, 2 bedrooms, nice view. It's a fair bit more expensive than dive central, but it's so nice I couldn't not take it. So, as of next Saturday (I know! Too quick!) I'll be living by myself, in my new dead sexy flat at 4/24a Landscape Road, Mt Eden. Feel free to fly over and visit me, I now have somewhere you can stay!!
My flight home from Wellington last night has to be the worst flight I've ever been on. Turbulance like you wouldn't believe for an hour straight. The Hosties were trying to serve the food, in the end they gave up after bits of meat kept flying around. At one stage they were sitting down in the isle it was that rough. Somehow Captain Klutz managed to land the plane (1 wheel at a time it seemed) and we all survived. For a minute or 2 there I was wondering! It was also pissing with rain and the sky was lit up every few minutes with lightening. Pretty freaky stuff!

I'm back in Wellington again all next week. I'm going to start packing up all my stuff this afternoon/tomorrow so that I can move in next weekend. I'm really looking forward to it, it's a real nice apartment! Seeya!
