A Better Update Than The Last One!

Submitted by TiM on

With the prices of petrol ever increasing, Sarah has bought this beastie [edit: Link removed because it's expired]. We went down to look at it at lunchtime and it's in great condition, the only flaw is a ding on the front bumper. Nothing to worry about though! Plus she got it for a steal, the insurance guy on the phone couldn't believe how cheap she'd bought it for!

At least now when we decide to travel somewhere we don't have to the smallest amount, then still spent 45 minutes reorganising it so it fits in the boot of the MR2. In the MR2's defense though, it would eat the Legnum for lunch!

I'm having a major tidy of my apartment at the moment. Thus of course why I'm taking time out to write a long story, anything to put off the job at hand. Since moving in I've never really unpacked 100%, so I'm doing that. Probably pointless because I'll probably be packing it all up again soon after Christmas!
I do like this apartment heaps though, so close to everything, 30 seconds walk from a dairy that's open 24/7 (and it sells beers!)
I do miss having a place to park my car and wash it, also somewhere to sit outside and enjoy the sun. You can only have one or the other though.

I can't believe what's happening in the USA. Usually I just ignore those things with the "not my problem" mentality. I have been doing the same to the disaster but the more I've been reading the more I just can't believe how a government could abandon it's people so badly. Not only do you loose everything but then your government, through inaction, basically says "Fuck You!" Glad I don't live there.

My Beatallica T-Shirts arrived today! Took almost 6 weeks for them to arrive since I paid for them, but they did send me an email a while ago to apologise because of problems with their supplier. I'm stoaked!

Ok enough stalling, I should go pile up all the clothes and stuff strewn around the place.

Dearest mother, I hope your present has arrived?

Darling, thankyou for the lovely scarf and SPCA calendar which I have just unwrapped. Card is profound, a little tricky for me on a Friday night after a hard week in a Child Care centre. I shall have another look at it tomorrow. Thankyou for the gift, it is very much appreciated. LOL Mother ps are you going to Amsterdam? XX
