Thursday night I went to the pub with a bunch of people to farewall a good TelstraClear mate of mine, Aaron P. He's resigned (like everyone else seems to be doing) to pursue other more interesting career goals. Good on him too, I'm sure he'll do really well, he's one smart cookie.
I might have had a couple too many at this particular bash (No I heard you all cry in mock surprise) and ended up a little tipsy. Only to find out that Sarah's gone to hospital because she's having a really bad ashma attack. So I arrive at the hospital much to the amusement/embarassement of Sarah. I'm told I made a good play thing for the Dr's though when I had a little snooze in the chair. Woopsie.
I finally called my mates Rob and Denny tonight, I've been meaning to for so long it's not funny. I spend a lot of time over at Sarah's place though and I can't really use her phone to ring overseas. I do have a calling card but I got the bill for it the other day and it seems to be rather expensive, at least compared to making a call from the homephone. Which is dumb because they're both TelstraClear. Anyway I'm just making excuses for being a slack/busy prick, it's one thing I'm going to endevour to do from now on, call my damn family/friends more often.
So I'd written that much above, when I got a message saying core failure in network on my phone. We have a cool alarm monitor program and it works really well.
So I've been into worked and fixed it, it's now 1:15am in the morning and time for sleeping. So, until tomorrow when I finish this off with a new story, die routers DIE!

Re: Stumblin' Around In An Emergency
You were REALLY drunk Tim. The doctor kicked your leg quite hard, then the clipboard and keys fell off your lap and made a huge noise, and you kept on snoring. PLus you kept saying "hate" without any further explanation.
