Early Morning Chills - At Least My Ear Flaps Keep Me Warm. Or Something.

Up at 5am again today after getting home from work last night at about 10:30pm. Nothing has gone wrong thankfully, just some prep work last night and then a swapover of a bit of equipment at 6am this morning. Sometimes I really really hate getting up early and I'm shitty about it for the rest of the day. Other days, like today, I really don't mind getting up early. It was cool this morning to fang into town in the BoD, Powderfinger cranking loud, do the work (which went really well) and then fang back to Takapuna (Powderfinger still cranking) to go to work.

Last night I had a good chat to my mate Rob (of Rob and Denny fame) which was fairly overdue I think. Sounds like things are still a bit muppety with some of my old friends back home having a stupid little spat over not much really. I didn't get to talk to him for as long as I'd have liked, it was getting quite late and I had to be up at 5. But it was still good to have a chat, Rob's still one of my best mates even though we haven't seen each other for nearly 2 years!

Not sure what I'm going to do this weekend, I think we're all going to go out tonight on the town, but I'll wait and see on that one. If certain other people want to tag along then I am definetly remembering I'm suddenly sick or something.

I should stop complaining, it's Friday and I'm in a really good mood actually. I'm wearing my dead sexi beanie that everyone stares at. At first I thought it was because they think I look stupid, but now I think it's because they're jealous of how handsome and attractive I look while wearing it. Yea, that has to be it I think.

hahaha. Reception just rang to tell me I've left the window down in my car. I had to explain that doesn't wind up, and the sooner someone steals my car the better. I guess they haven't seen my car, because they thought that was a bit odd.
