Hey party animals! It's just been another fun day of work with lots of crazy werid stuff going on. I hear through the grapevine that we have released some new TelstraClear ads apon the public. I watched TV tonight in the hope of seeing them, but to no avail. Gawd I hope these ones are better than the last ones!!
Just had a quiet night at home tonight, Hera cooked another tasty as tea! I've just been sitting here chatting Simon and Hera about this and that. We watched the "real life" Cop show "Boozed And Busted" or something like that before. Very good for a laughing. Nat Morgan if you're reading, most of the bozos on it reminded me of you! heh.
I love my new guitar!! Have I said that already? It's sooo cool. I can't stop playing it, even though my fingers hurt lots and I still suck pretty badly. At least these days I can actually strum OK. I was just talking to Simon and Hera and saying one day in a couple of months I'm going to go down Queen St with my trusty guitar and go mental. If you know me at all you know that I can't sing for shite (try and I might) so I think it'll be heaps of fun to get there and sing. I'm going to be sure to sing the granny song, the best guitar sing-a-long song in the world.
Emi's flatmate Daniel has moved out, so her and her flatmate are looking for a new flatmate. I was there then other night when Gwenda and her minder friend guy decided they were going to come and have a look at the place. Daniel had told Emi that she sounded "OK" on the phone. When she got there she was NOT OK. She was either pissed, had just escaped from the loonie bin, or both. She waltzed around the place hugging and kissing Emi, played Emi's piano while singing like a dead cat (I am Eddie Vedder compared to her) and picked up a guitar and proceded to sing and play very badly. I just assumed at first it was one of Emi's friends. (Yes - I'm going to get in trouble for saying that) She was totally nuts, then as she was leaving she started to argue with Emi and Matt because they weren't willing to offer her the place there and then. She was totally werid, the guy with her didn't seem to notice that she was a freak show. Anyway. I guess I should feel sorry for her.
But I don't!
I'm going to have a buy a washing machine. The reality hit me today when I was reading Laree's journal. There's not really any point renting one, It cost me just as much to rent one for a year when I was living in Landscape Road as it would have to have just brought one straight up. But still. It's all of a sudden just got WAY TO DEPRESSING. I'm turning 26 in a few days and I AM THINKING ABOUT MY FIRST WASHING MACHINE PURCHASE!!! Please someone make the pain go away. Arrrgh I can't even talk about it anymore, it's just too depressing.
I am however looking forward to buying a fridge. I can see the need for a fridge. Fridges are important. Washing machines are not.
With that deep thought loyal readers, I shall leave you be.
Tim
