10 Years!

Submitted by TiM on

You know what? I never realised it at the time, but on the 27th of October this year, Tim's Diary turned 10 years old. 10 years! That's a bloody long time. I've never once stopped writing in it, given up or had it offline (well, for any length of time!) So there's 10 years of archives. I wish I'd taken some screenshots of how it used to look back in the day. It was pretty clunky, it had comments way before it was the thing to have comments! I did find that logo up the top there that graced the site for many years until Sarah started designing much cooler headers! Read on for some highlights!

Here's the first ever story posted.

Here's Sarah's first ever comment, just after she came up to see me when my lung collapsed for the first time.

When I bought my MR2. [Need to login to read this one. If you don't want to you can read this one instead.]

When we got Oscar the Lovebird.

My 30th Birthday celebration.

Sarah and I first moved in together, the house was full of fleas.

We left New Zealand for our overseas adventures. After travelling for a while we arrived in England old chap!

We did a bit of travelling from England and while we were in France we got Engaged!

I also got a new lung care of the British NHS health system.

Once we'd had enough of England, we ended up in Kenya. I still remember packing boxes in our little apartment until about 4am in the morning.

We travelled around Africa for 3 months.

Then we ended up back in New Zealand

We got married! What a great day it was.

Then we finally moved into our own home (and bought a cat.) Here's to the next 10 years!

Thanks for reading!!

I thought I'd help you out and link to the way back machine, but I think this may have something to do with the fact that it doesn't have tjharman.com in it's brain;

I suspect that'd have something to do with it!

I'm pretty fanatical about keeping this site out of search engines. Why pollute the search engine space with this garbage? Plus it means if you're searching for me it makes it that bit harder.

The downside is of course that there's no other archive of my brilliance!
