Last day for 2 whole weeks!

Two whole weeks of freedom is nearly here... Just a few more hours of work and tying up loose ends then I'm free! Woohoo! I can't wait! The only thing I'm shitty about is we were supposed to get paid our bonuses yesterday and we didn't. So I don't have as much money as I've had liked for the big 2 week tour. My landlord is being his typical slackarse self and hasn't mailed me my bond form... So I've got $550 waiting there that I can't get my mitts on. Useless prick. I'd love to drive down to Hamilton and hit him, but that won't really achieve much because the money is held with the bond people. Actually I might ring the bond people and see if they can't help me out. Useless bloody prick of a landlord.

What else? Not much really. Hi Bianca, hope you are feeling better soon. Drinking beer will certainly help you get better, there's not doubt about it. And like you said, you know what happened last time you were sick and drinking beer. heh.

Typical last day action today, my phone which was totally dead quiet yesterday and rang about once has had about 20 calls this morning. Stupid people, don't they know I'm going on leave and don't actually care? Arrrgh. Muppets, I'm being attacked by muppets! I think I've got most of the stuff sorted out though which is a good thing. The only stuff leave to do is this weekend (Saturday night/Sunday morning) work crap. This of course sucks total arse, because Adam and Chesty rock up on Saturday and are going to want to go out drinking lagers, which of course I won't be able to do. Did I already mention that Adam and Chesty timed this trip at the worst possible time? :)

Anyway, I'm going out to Hellrose today for a BBQ lunch thingy, a whole bunch of really cool people have all been laid off and today is their last day with the company. It's good to hear that all of them have managed to find themselves jobs with other companies, but it's still sad to see them go because most of them were the guys I used to hang out with when I first started working for TelstraSaturn. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome and join in the fun (read: Friday night pissups), and it sucks to be keeping my job while they are getting removed from theirs. But like I said, they've all found other jobs so that's at least one good thing.

Well I guess that's enough babbling on. I'm going to be updating my website pretty sparsly over the next 2 weeks obviously. But then I'm pretty slack at updating it usually, so nothing really chances there does it?
