Pizza is good.

I know Pizza isn't really good for me, but it's Friday and I really don't give a rats arse about stuff being good for me, I'm hungry, damnit. The PizzaHut in Auckland are totally useless though, it took about 5 minutes on the phone to order my pizza. It seems whenever I read out my address to them some little light must flash on the screen and say "extend call for 5 minutes" cause it seems to happen all the time.

I was going to go to a Halloween party tonight, but I went out last night and had a few (read many) beers with some guys from work. Somehow I feel a lot better when I wake up hungover but know that someone else paid for all the drinks. All bow to the power that is the Amex Card of joy. I'm not sure how he's going to explain the $200+ tab that we racked up, but that's for poor Mark to worry about, not me.

Mark's one of the corporate sales guys, he's really cool and likes to look after us IP guys, the theory being that we will then take extra special care of his customers. Which we do, most of the time.

There was also some talk of a bunch of us hiring a 30 foot yacht one weekend and taking it out sailing, that'll be pretty cool if it happens.

I still hate Penrose as much as I did before, in case anyone was wondering if I'd changed my mind. I worked from home today and worked in Queen St yesterday. So I've been out there 3 out of 5 days, that's pretty good. I got more work done in Queen St yesterday cause I didn't have muppets coming up to me every 5 seconds asking stupid muppet questions. Both me and Tony have taken to wearing headphones and listening to music to drown out the yabber of the other people out there. Cube Farms suck.

Well my Pizza has arrived, so I'm off to eat that. PIZZA! PIZZA! YUM!
