Back From Roto

Hello! We're back from Rotorua. Such a shame that it rained all weekend, but we still had a really good time. Yesterday we just had a nice breakfast, did a bit of shopping at Farmers and then drove home. We were going to visit some bubbling mud and take some cool photos but then it started to piss with rain and we thought "Bubbling mud? Seen it!" and just drove home instead.

I forgot to mention that we entered the flower photo of Oscar into the Auckland SPCA calendar contest. Everyone always comments when they see it so we hope it's in with a good chance. I think it's cooler than the 500 pictures of "Fluffo the cat" that will be entered, here's hoping that the judges agree. He should be awarded a posthumous award for dedication to chirping at least!

I've got to go onsite to a client's tonight and work on their server. I'm always a little nervous about these things, I'm not 100% sure of the system I'm working on, but no doubt there'll be someone who wants to watch my every mouse-click and ask "Why'd you do that?" Having said that, I have been reading all the documentation on what I have to do, so I hope by tonight I will be a full on expert.

RIP Peter Brock. Now there was a real Australian legend.
