Curry Muncher Cars Pty Ltd

Hello again for Today! Took Sarah's car in to get a warrant to what has to be the most dodgy looking workshop in all of Auckland. After I dropped it off I was expecting a phone call telling me the engine had fallen out and it needed $2,000 worth of work, but amazingly enough they only said it needed the front tyre replacing! Regardless, I don't think I'll be taking it back to "Don Corleone Curry Munchers" motors again. I don't know how to describe it any better than it.

Still pretty annoyed about the U2 thing! I just hope their rescheduled concert doesn't end up being the day after (or even the day of!) my teeth extraction, which is the 30th March. The Rock (local radio station) has even postponed their U2 ticket giveaway.

Yesterday I had a bit of interesting work, meeting someone in town to find out about a bit of new working coming up, then doing almost a bit of a sale pitch to some people! Thankfully the people I was doing the sales pitch to are people I already know quite well so the sale pitch was more a catchup chit chat over a coffee. Was an interesting morning though, but one that I enjoyed. Prehaps I should have been a car salesman?

Sarah saw the funniest ad on TV tonight (I had my head in the laptop), a "save the panda" ad. It showed Whales beating the crap out of seals (as they do in real life) and then ended with "Still want to save the whales? www.savethepanda.org" Quite clever, though I'm sure given the chance the Panda would beat the shit out of something too.

I cooked a wicked dinner last night, lamb shanks, mashed potatos and roasted carrots. Tonight I we couldn't be arsed so I cooked us Hell Pizza. Where cooked = ordered. They make desert Pizza too, we have to figure out how to make those in our Pizza oven out the back!
