Finally got my hands on our U2 tickets last night. Not sure if I've mentioned this already but I forgot to change the address for the U2 tickets to be sent to, so $800 worth of tickets was sent to my old K-Road address! I rang them up when I realised this was about to happen, but they told me that the tickets had already been sent. Last week I went around to the old place and using some specialst tools (needlenose plyers and a plastic ruler snapped in half) and managed to get the mail out of the mail box. Nothing for me though and after all that effort! So I left a little note in the mailbox saying I was the old tennant and I was expecting some important mail and I'd be over next week to collect it.
It wouldn't have really mattered anyway, because they're A reserve tickets you can just get the old ones null and voided and new ones reissued, but I didn't want that hassle. Anyway I went over last night and managed to get in the front door, the guy came down and gave me a handful of mail and woohoo! The U2 tickets were right there! One huge weight off my mind.
Sarah's dad has been staying with us the last few nights, Wednesday night we went out to Japanese which was really nice, last night we just opted to go to the local curry shop. Cheap as chips and very nice.
Today Sarah's Mum is coming up from Napier to join us because tomorrow it's Sarah's birthday! We're going to have a party and fire up the Pizza Oven, plus the $50 BBQ that we scored from (you guessed it) TradeMe. Should be good.
And that's about it for today. Hopefully I can bottle my beer tonight, I tested it last night but the Specific Gravity was still a little too high.

Can we drink the beer
Can we drink the beer tomorrow night or will it still be doing things inside the bottles?

Ginger!
The ginger beer? It says people have drunk it after 3 days and when I tested them before they're all very tight, so they're obviously fully fermented. I will put a bottle in the fridge now and give it a test later this arvo...
