Went out last night with some workmates, the Boss and a few other people for a few well earned beers at the pub. Managed to keep away from getting drawn on this time too which is a bonus. Yesterday was a really busy day, we had a network crash for about 20 minutes... Always a lot of fun to recover from. After the beers at the pub a few of us went off for a nice dinner at this little Italian place in Point Chevalier. That was really nice, finally managed to get home at nearly 11pm!
It's nice when Vendors are paying and say "order whatever you want and drink whatever you want"!
I spoke to Johnnie today and he thinks that I should get a fair bit of money back on my Australian Tax Return. All I need to do now is wait for the Australian Consulate in New Zealand to send me a Tax Pack and fill the stupid thing in. I'm not even sure if I have to fill a tax return or what in over here in NZ. I don't think I do, but I suppose I'll find out when the police rock up at my door and arrest me.
I'm getting ADSL at home next week, so that'll be cool. I'll be wired up to the net 24/7 then. Not that I'm not already, but instead of a crappy slow modem it'll be screaming fast Internet instead. Which TelstraSaturn pays for. Living in New Zealand isn't all bad!
That's it for today. I can't wait for the weekend, this has been one crazy crazy week. I get to stay back late tonight and then come in early tomorrow. I think I might setup a bed in my office...

why not just download etax and electronically submit it? it's what the rest of us technologically advanced people do. www.ato.gov.au or something like that...

Well I would do it like that, except I've lost my last tax return, and you need info off that one to be able to use the Electronic thingo. I've rung up the Australian Consulate in NZ and they're going to send me a Tax Pack anyway, so I'm sorted.
