Cooking, 101

Ok, no one ever actually told me why you have to defrost things. I kinda regret that now. I had all this tasty tasty strips of beef the other night, but I'd forgotten to defrost them before I went to cook them. So I just thought I'll chuck them in the pot and let it magically defrost as it cooks. Bad move, it all turned out so chewy and yuck and horrible. At least I was making a strong curry, so it wasn't really a problem.

Me and Emi watched the movie "Legally Blonde" last night, it's a pretty funny movie too. Really silly movie, but that's what made it funny as.

I should write movies I think. It's got to be better than work.
I got this email today flagged as urgent, so I opened it. It was an internal company email telling me that I should be watching TV tonight to make sure I see the new TelstraClear ad on TV. I am not making this up! The company is telling us to watch TV to see their ads! They also had a link to an online version of the ad and it was the lamest, most pathetic thing I've ever seen.
I'd post it here for people to look at, but I don't know if that'll get me in trouble or not.
The ad was this couple that burst in their front door and start ripping each other clothes off and are rolling all over each other etc, then there is this other guy who is looking at his computer and he's so interested in his computer (cause it's connected to our Internet product) that he fails to see the couple having near simulated sex in the background. That's it, then it starts crapping on about how you get so much free hours with us blah blah wibble.
Yup, that's how pathetic the ad is. Whoever we paid to make this one needs a bulldozer enima.

Well anyway. I should go and practice how to cook some more. At least I'm cooking most nights now, I used to eat out so much, I don't do it heaps anymore. Still buy my lunch mosts days though, I can't ever be bothered making it when I get up. I just get up, have coffee and then jump on my bike.
